Our 100% natural, effective insect repellent relies on a personally tested combination of Essential oils known to keep biting insects at bay. The principal oil we use is Bog Myrtle (sometimes called Sweet Gale) – native to Scotland and very effective. Also included in the blend are Citronella, Lemongrass, Eucalyptus, Camphor and Rosemary. We add a generous splash of Jojoba oil to fix the oils on the skin and Aloe Vera to soothe already bitten skin. Non-irritant, non-sensitising, non-toxic. Smells great as well.

The addition of Organic Argan oil has made this cream slightly thicker in consistancy than previously but we feel the additional benefits outweigh this. I find that it takes a while to sink into the skin and would like to know what you think – if it’s a problem we will need to think about revising the quantity…… drop us an email!!
