Your hands are subject to all kinds of punishing treatment including the drying effects of both weather and the chemicals used for everyday tasks. Antibacterial soaps and those liquid surfactants used in public places are also extremely drying. Hands lose moisture quickly exposed to these factors and this weakens the natural lipid layer allowing infection to enter any little nicks and cuts. They can also quickly become extremely dry leading to itching and flaky skin. Our 100% natural creams are a highly moisturising blend of organic fruit oils, unrefined Sheanut Butter, homegrown botanicals and enriched with Organic Northumbrian Beeswax laced with beneficial Essential oils that have the ability to nourish, heal and soothe. Try to remember to use your Woadworks natural hand creams regularly especially during the winter when you can apply them under gloves for added protection. They can also be used on other parts of the body such as elbows, heels and knees where extra softening and moisturising is required.

Although we only use pure Essential Oils, totally natural ingredients and plant based colours in all our skincare products most of which are organically sourced there are a very few customers who have a skin sensitivity to even natural ingredients. These include some nut and Essential oils – mainly those with a known ’spicy’ provenance such as Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Clove etc. This may cause a tingling and/or reddening of the skin. If you are sensitive to such natural ingredients you will probably know by now but just in case……

Ideal kitchen sink soap - deals effectively with ground-in dirt, grease, grass stains, cooking smells and just about everything else. We've added a light touch of Organic English Lavender Essential oil for both it's ability to soothe burns and it's antibacterial properties. There's a generous helping of ground pumice in here too for it's natural exfoliation and a smattering of dried Rosemary leaves to help remove grime.
