Changes in hormone levels during pregnancy can have an effect on the skin. The most obvious ones are the appearance of stretch marks and spider veins but unspecified itching and 'hot spots' are common too. Your skin may look dull at this time as well but don't be tempted to use abrasive exfoliants which will strip the skin of it's protective layer. Massage with gentle fruit oils and soothing pure Essentials oils (not Lavender though) are relaxing and de-stressing. Although we only use pure Essential Oils, totally natural ingredients and plant based colours in all our skincare products most of which are organically sourced there are a very few customers who have a skin sensitivity to even natural ingredients. These include some nut and Essential oils – mainly those with a known ’spicy’ provenance such as Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Clove etc. This may cause a tingling and/or reddening of the skin. If you are sensitive to such natural ingredients you will probably know by now but just in case……

PLEASE patch test our products on the inside of your wrist before using them on your face…………if you find you have a sensitivity to any of our 100% natural skincare products just return them in their original packaging and we will either exchange or issue a refund including the cost of returning – your consumer rights are not affected by this offer.
